Academic journey, stack, and what I do beyond code
Where I'm studying, the tools I reach for, and the things that keep me sane outside an editor.
I'm a Year 2 Software Engineering student at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, working at the intersection of mobile systems, offline-first data, and AI-assisted developer tooling. I build things that respect the constraints of real users in low-bandwidth environments: Android apps that surface critical info (like class timetables) via system overlays, Flutter projects that work fully offline, and small web tools that compose well. I also tinker at the OS layer — Termux, Linux window managers, custom keyboards — because understanding the platform makes you a better application developer.

Beyond code
A few interests that keep me sharp and human.
Music & Guitar
Acoustic/electric in downtime — keeps iteration loops honest.
Nature & Touring
Long drives around Uganda. Best debugging happens off-grid.
System Customization
Tinkering with Linux distros, window managers, and Termux.
